《名人传》的作者是法国著名作家罗曼罗兰，书中讲述了三个赫赫有名的人物：德国作曲家贝多芬、意大利雕刻家米开朗琪罗和俄国作家列夫托尔斯泰。他们的`一生经历了很多磨难，但他们始终没有放弃，最终成了伟人。这也告诉我们一个道理：艰难与挫折是对命运和人生的最好锤炼!

在这三位伟人当中，我印象最深的是贝多芬，贝多芬是个音乐天才，可他的童年却十分悲惨。16岁时，母亲去世，父亲变成了挥霍无度的酒鬼，这些不幸在他心中刻下了深深的伤痕。贝多芬并没有因此而沉沦，他把自己全部的精力，都投入到音乐当中去，很快他就成名了。可就在这时，不幸的事情发生了：他的听力在渐渐衰退，到后来一点儿都听不见了。这对于一个音乐家来说，是多大的痛苦呀!但贝多芬仍然没有放弃，创作出了许多作品。
