A (All the Cabbie Had Was a Letter) 的主题友谊、第四册第一单元课文A (The Icy Defender) 有关自然的强大力量、第一册第八单元对教育问题的探讨、第二册第五单元对生命的讴歌、第三册第六单元课文A (The Last Leaf) 描述的疾病给人带来的失望等分别对人性、自然、存在问题、生命、失望和疾病等哲学问题进行了一定的阐释。

Text A (The Glorious Messiness of English)

A (A Friend in Need)

(Fighting with the Forces of Nature)

Text A (Mr.Doherty Builds His Dream Life)
